An application designed to give users more control over Apple��s Energy Saver. It helps solve the problem of Energy Saver insomnia. Many software packages, scanners, and other peripherals interfere with the Mac��s normal sleeping patterns. Lights Out offers a secondary idle timer to put your Mac to sleep even when Energy Saver fails to do so. The application also offers hot corners to instantly put your Mac to sleep, or keep your Mac awake. Lights Out offers the ability to customize Energy Saver settings for individual applications. This can be useful for long downloads, iTunes streams, cd or dvd playback, etc. Lights Out allows Safe Sleep to be toggled on or off, and it can delete the sleepimage file freeing up valuable hard drive space. Lights Out can solve unusual power management problems by cleaning out key configuration files and resetting Energy Saver. Lights Out can even logout or shutdown your Macintosh after a specified idle period.

I just discovered that the animated form of this illusion is much more interesting than the static one. So I set out to build a screensaver of it.

Now with configurable animation speed and block size. (Though I still find the default most pleasing :) Oh, and I also fixed the buildscript so it now produces good zip files. Sorry for that on the first try. Have fun trying it till your eyes become squared (as my boss uses to say. :) I��m looking for a talented graphics designer to create a really nice icon for this server. Does anyone want to step foreward?
