Do you also have coworkers who use Microsoft Outlook and send you schedules or attachments? If you receive such a mail, you only see such a ugly winmail.dat file. Then you have to start either iCal, and copy and past the information of the schedule into your iCal, or another program to extract the attachment. Not very Mac-a-like.

Here comes OMiC into play. OMiC is an Apple Mail plug-in, when you receive a schedule it starts iCal and let you decide in which calendar you want to add the schedule.

Or when you receive a attachments packed in a winmail.dat file OMiC ask you where you want to extract this files.
